Vortox V-16: This unique design offers a "more balanced" presence on the sides of the most popular truck models without exceeding the vehicle's width limitations. The V-16's aerodynamic styling is an industry first and is destined to be the air cleaner of choice for years to come.

Vortox's inital introduction of the V-16 will focus on the following makes and models:

• Freightliner Classic XL/Classic
• International 9900ix -
  Model year 2000 and up
• Peterbilt 379
• Others will follow

These are designed for dual air cleaner application. (Specific models for driver/passenger side). Airflow will meet or exceed standard equipment. Each air cleaner includes its own mounting bands/adapters, and in some cases component parts for plumbing.

June 2001

Vortox Company today introduced its first air cleaner specially designed for Freightliner trucks. The 13"-diameter model retains all of the styling traditionally associated with the Vortox brand, but has servicing access at its base. This feature allows air filters to be reached and replaced without the customary necessity for detaching the truck's mirror fittings.
